1982 Buthelezi and the ‘commie plot’
This clipping from the Golden City Press, Johannesburg 18 April 1982, speaks for itself. Since 1979 we had been openly critical of the receptiveness of ANC leaders in exile to overtures from Buthelezi, who was cloaking his counter-revolutionary Inkatha organisation with the colours of the ANC and claiming to represent its legacy within South Africa.
